Lake Effect Cooperative Ministries

Eighteen people joined in the Lake Effect Cooperative Ministries gathering  during which they made 200 Blizzard Bags on Saturday, January 20.  The event was  held at Mexico First United Methodist Church.  The bags contain such food items  as pudding cups, tea bags, hot chocolate mixes, soups, cereal, and more.   Every  bag was hand decorated and a personal note was placed in each one.  The bags  will be distributed to those folks in the area that may have a difficult time  having food delivered, or getting out for food, should a blizzard come to  Central New York.  Thanks to all who participated in this fun event!
